Fábel returns to the Haunt Music stage with his third, most shadowy and lush long player. Like a collection of autumn leaves blowing in the wind “The Wick”inspires introspective thought and reflection, yet remains playful and innocent at times.

In a journey over twelve tracks, Fábel effortlessly paints his sonic pictures with a cunning use of shadow and synthetic atmosphere, brushed with organic percussion and a layer deeply rooted in his bass lines.

As a very resourceful artist, Fábel uses the most of his surroundings and has the ability to turn his environment into the very fuel that burns the studio fire. The main Inspiration of the record mainly comes from his living experience in London’s Hackney Wick, the city where he’s been based since 2012. A rough area of the city where most people try to make the very best of what they have access to, so does the self-taught multi-instrumentalist. Fábel would agree with me that his bass is most definitely his strong suit. When Fábel was discovered in 2003 he was recording with a hand made bass made out of a Garbage can. Growing up on the streets from Bask Country to Valencia Spain, Fábel learned great many lessons on how to use the most of what you have.

His unbreakable spirit shines through again with an outstanding collection of music, wielding a timeless sonic palette that leaves the listener spell bound.
